John Catsimatidis Sells His Ethnic Appeal As Winning Formula on Bloomberg TV Profile

John Catsimatidis's different colors are gleeful. He is a Clinton fan, distincts himself from the President and believes in Free market. Although he adores Mitt Romney and supported him in the last presidential election, Catsimatidis believes that what contributed to Mitt Romney's loss, will help him get elected in NYC as a Republican candidate.

"Mitt Romney lost every ethnic vote," he told Bloomberg TV's Betty Liu. But what separates him from Romney, he claims, is the appeal. "I am a guy who brings in ethnics. I am an ethnic. I am not a guy that keeps them a way. America is the land of ethnics, and we have to respect every community and bring them in as part of any solution," he said.

Mr. Catsimatids also dived into national politics and diplomacy, offering an easy solution for the growing deficit, were he to be the leader of the free world. "We spend $1.5 Trillion protecting the world. Well," he says, "if we are sending the money overseas and protecting them, send them a bill. Send Japan a bill for $100 Billion, send Saudi Arabia and the Emirates a bill for $100 billion, send a bill to Germany, who we are still protecting, for a $100 billion. I bet you we can find 10 countries that we are protecting, that we can send a bill to. I bet you we can get back a trillion dollars. And guess what? there goes the whole deficit," he explained.

"That's diplomacy - Catsimatidis Style," Liu concluded .
